Strong partnerships with important community organizations have played an important role in students’ lives in the Berkshire Local Schools. Such was the case earlier this week, when the East Geauga Kiwanis organization offered recognition to 3rd grade students at Burton Elementary Schools for their classroom performance. Each student in the nearby picture was given an official certificate from the organization as well as the very generous donation of 4 books. The value of a strong community partner underscores the District’s belief in the preparing students for college and career readiness after school. On behalf of everyone at Burton Elementary School, a special word of gratitude is offered to our partners as the East Geauga Kiwanis club. Thank you for your kind support!
