Burton Elementary School Third Graders Receive Recognition from East Geauga Kiwanis Club

outstanding third graders

A handful of Burton Elementary School Third Grade students were recently recognized by the East Geauga Kiwanis organization for their efforts in the classroom. Evan Pollock, Emma Hipp and Madelynn George were the honorees for this quarter, and are pictured nearby with BE Principal Mrs. Randles. The East Geauga Kiwanis organization takes the time to showcase students at the end of each grading period as a way to make positive connections between their service-based institution and students in our community. The recognition, which has been a standard for the East Geauga Kiwanis for thirty years, comes in addition to the generous $1,000 scholarship that they present to a graduating senior at Berkshire and other nearby local school districts, which, incidentally, Mrs. Randles won during her senior year at Berkshire. Congratulations to the students and families associated with the recent recognition given by the East Geauga Kiwanis Club. The Berkshire Local Schools thanks you for your partnership in helping students to succeed and make meaningful relationships in the community.
