Mental Health Resources
Berkshire High School partners with outside agencies to deliver mental health services to our students during the school day. Services include risk assessments, individual counseling, group counseling, case management, and addiction counseling. In addition, Berkshire Schools has a Therapeutic Behavioral Support specialist from Ravenwood Health supporting our students 5 days per week. If you have concerns about your child’s mental health needs, please contact a

If at any time after school hours you feel that your student needs to talk with a counselor, you can call the Geauga County Copeline at 440-285-5665 or 1-888-285-5665 to access a Crisis Intervention Specialist.This service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In addition, you can text the keyword ‘home’ to 741741 and expect a reply from a trained Crisis Counselor within five minutes.

Another option is to dial ‘988’, a national Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, which is the new three-digit dialing code that will route callers to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. These trained counselors will listen, understand how their problems are affecting them, provide support, and connect them to resources if necessary.
