Sparkle Students Proficiently, and Creatively, Honor Frontline Heroes

The Berkshire Local Schools’ treasured Sparkle Students continue to learn via zoom sessions, the most recent of which, focused on Frontline heroes. The students were able to identify local frontline heroes using a current events newspaper entitled, News 2 You.  The students then answered questions about which frontline hero they would like to be, and many of them chose the nursing profession. In addition, a local neighbor, who is a nurse at Hillcrest Hospital was the recipient of the thoughtfulness of our Sparkle Students, who made thank you cards, for this real frontline hero. Parents of our Sparkle Students mailed the cards to K-1 Sparkles Instruction Ashley Brzozowski, who then delivered them to Karrie Carman, a real front-line hero. Sparkle students are not only learning with technology, but taking the time and creative talents to thank those who are serving on the frontlines of this current pandemic. Way to go!
