Believe in Dreams Recognizes Ledgemont 4th Grader

Landon with Ledgemont supporters

Ledgemont 4th grade student Landon Wendorff was surprised by representatives from Believe in Dreams, a non-profit organization that fulfills dreams for children who are economically disadvantaged and have survived non-medical adversity, with a set of fun and enriching opportunities on Friday, May 24th.  Landon was nominated by his former 2nd grade teacher, Dave Malkus, for displaying perseverance and hard work to overcome adversity both at school and in his daily life.  Believe in Dreams, in partnership with John Roberts Spa, provided Landon with several dream experiences, including a shadowing opportunity with an architect from Bialosky Cleveland Firm, two tickets to the Cleveland Browns vs. Pittsburgh Steelers game on November 14th at First Energy Stadium, complete with an official Cleveland Browns winter hat and Baker Mayfield jersey, and a one-year membership to the Cleveland Aquarium!  In addition, Landon received his very own Chromebook with mousepad, mouse and flash drive.  Landon was joined at the surprise presentation by his grandmother, along with several Ledgemont teachers, Principal Kelly Rinehart and Superintendent John Stoddard.  The Berkshire Local Schools expresses its gratitude to Believe in Dreams and John Roberts Spa for their generous support on behalf of Landon Wendorff and his family.
