Summer Lunch Program available

"Now That's What I'm Talking About!", a summer lunch program for children in school and younger, is available for Montville, Thompson, Claridon, Burton and Troy this summer.  This new program, which is run through Claridon Community Helps (a non profit organization), will fill a gap within our community in a new way by providing free lunches to our school children.  It will ensure that our children are not going hungry and will provide a sense of security to families around food stability during the summer months.

One of the most unique parts of this summer Lunch Program is that it welcomes children to enjoy a free lunch whether the family is need of financial assistance (according to government guidelines) or not.  The idea is to create a space that welcomes people of all backgrounds to enjoy lunch without fear of judgement.

Children MUST be preregistered.  Children can be registered by returning the attached registration form.  The form can be turned into the school, mailed, registering online or over the phone.  Registration is ongoing.  Those received by May 15, 2019 will be used to determine delivery locations.  Delivery locations will be announced by May 24, 2019.

For more information regarding this program and to register please review this attached information.
