English Language Learner (ELL*) Tutor

Berkshire Middle School and Berkshire High School

The Berkshire Local School District is currently searching for an ELL Tutor.

Responsibilities include by are not limited to:

Provide targeted English language instruction to Spanish-speaking students
Support language development aligned with academic content
Collaborate with classroom teachers to support student success
Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed
Maintain appropriate documentation of services.

Qualifications:

Valid Ohio teaching license
TESOL/ELL endorsement
Spanish language proficiency preferred
Experience working with English language learners preferred.

Requirements:

Bachelor Degree
Master's Degree in School Counseling
Ohio Counselor License
Valid FBI/BCI Background Checks

Berkshire Elementary School

The Berkshire Local School District is currently looking for Educational Aides for the 2026-2027 School Year.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Current FBI/BCI Background Checks
Educational Aide (with ESEA endorsement) Permit
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification (preferred but not required)
Must be flexible and enjoy working with intensive need students
Comfortable with student behavior, daily living skills support of students
Communicate with team members effectively
Comfortable with technology
Assist with social and emotional needs

Lunch Room Monitor

The Berkshire Local School District is currently searching for a lunch room monitor for the 2025-2026 SY. This position is 3 hours per day (10:15 a.m. - 1:15 p.m.).

The Berkshire Local School District is currently searching for transportation aides for the 2025/2026 school year. This position is approximately 4.75 hours per day (5:40 - 8:00 AM/2:15 - 4:40 PM) with training provided.

Certified Speech and Language Pathologist

Long-Term Substitute Position - 2026-2027 School Year

Preschool and Kindergarten

The Berkshire Local School District is currently searching for a long-term Certified Speech and Language Pathologist from August 27 to November 27, 2026.

Requirements:

Provide services to assigned students based on Individual Education Programs, including students with low incidence diagnosis and hearing impairment.
Consult and collaborate with student’s team to support students’ educational goals
Prepare, attend and support IEP/ETR meetings.
Providing training and instruction to staff as needed
Complete all Medicaid billing procedures
FBI/BCI background checks
