Freshman American History students concluded their school year with an experiential project taking a deeper look into the last six decades of American history. Students focused their efforts on multiple topics to get an overall glimpse into what it was like to be an American throughout their assigned decade. These topics included notable events, economics, politics, movements, science and technology, influential people, and pop culture.
The groups presented their information to their classmates dressed in clothes that were popular from the decade and with artifacts that were popular also. Many of them, shared information that they gained from conversations with individuals who lived during the time period in addition to their own research.
Congratulations to our ninth-grade American History class students for their excellent research and presentations!
