Berkshire Local Schools Bids Farewell to the 2020-2021 School Year

Excitement, energy and the positivity characterized the final day of the 2020-2021 School Year in the Berkshire Local Schools, as students and staff members bid farewell to one another on Wednesday, June 9th. A variety of year-end activities and events took place throughout the Berkshire Local Schools during the week of June 7th and then again on the final day of school, Wednesday, June 9th. While graduating members of the Class of 2021 participated in the annual commencement ceremony one week ago at the Geauga County Fairgrounds, the remainder of the student body completed their official educational experiences for the school year in fine fashion, despite the nuances associated with the last 12 months and the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the District. Successfully, students, staff and parents pursued achievement and accomplished a great deal. As the Berkshire Local Schools bids farewell to this school year, the entire school community eagerly anticipates the start of the 2021-2022 school year, during which the significant transition to the new PreK-12 facility will take place. More information will continually be released on this transition during the coming months. Until then, congratulations graduates and the entire school body, on finishing the 2020-2021 school year. Please have a safe and enjoyable summer. Go Badgers!
