The Berkshire Local Schools’ youngest students enrolled in the Badger Virtual Academy recently participated in a project-based learning opportunity to formally and creatively express gratitude to the front-line workers who help our entire community. Kindergarten, 1st Grade and 2nd Grade students in the BVA were given an assignment to thank the health care workers, first responders and others with graciously crafted cards and other notes of encouragement. These items were recently delivered to the front-line workers and pictures were taken of these individuals with the messages of support. You can watch a video that has been made to showcases the individual 'thank you cards' that were created and delivered. The Berkshire Local Schools commends all health care workers and front line first responders during this season of battling the global pandemic, and also salutes the students in the BVA and their instructors for developing such a meaningful assignment.
