Sparkles Students Learning Online in Meaningful Way

Sparkles students are creatively and meaningfully adapting to the nuances of learning with the precautionary measures of the COVID-19 pandemic in mind. Many instructors are working very hard to maximize the educational experience that is being delivered to our Sparkles students. For example, the students and staff will meet in a more isolated location at Burton Elementary and Ledgemont in order to limit exposure, to the students attending in school. Mrs. Ashley Brzozowski, along with Speech Therapist Mrs. Hendl are able to provide 1:1 direct instruction to these students at different scheduled time blocks throughout the week. Occupational Therapists, Mrs. Fraley and Mrs. Mccauley also play a valuable role in the instruction. Our Sparkles are learning and having fun while doing so. In the nearby pictures, you will see the Unique Learning System during a remote session along with a snapshot of the Virtual Berkshire Academy Zoom session in-action. Way to go, Sparkles! Your staff is proud of your accomplishments during the early part of the year!
