Berkshire Jr./Sr. High School will be host to the Geauga County Jobs Fair on Thursday, April 11, 2019 for students from 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. The Jobs Fair is sponsored by Ohio Means Jobs, a state-sponsored initiative designed to provide the future workforce in Ohio the opportunity to practice interview, obtain valuable internships, seek scholarships and uncover countless resources for career planning. This event will be the first of its type in all of Geauga County. Thus far, The Jobs Fair is slated to host approximately 50 area businesses and corporate entities together with whom students will have the opportunity to meet, engage and develop relationships. Some of them include: Component Repair Technologies, Windsor House, Inc., Ohio Laborers Training and Apprenticeship, the Geauga County Engineers Office, Centerra Co-Op, Universal Polymer and Rubber and Duramax Marine. Once again, the Jobs Fair will be hosted in the gymnasium on April 11, 2019, for students between 8:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., and the general public is invited between 11:30 and 12:30 p.m. The Berkshire Local Schools extends its gratitude to Ohio Means Jobs for their desire to partner with our school district to help provide this important opportunity for students.
