Welcome back to school on August 23rd!
As part of a routine effort to expose the Sparkles Team of the Berkshire Local Schools with real world experiences, a handful of our low incidence need students visited Derthick’s Corn Maze.
On Thursday, October 7th, students from Mrs. Moore’s and Mrs. Heiman’s 2nd and 4th period classes, participated in their first Community-Based Learning field trip, a scavenger hunt in our local Village.
Burton Elementary fourth grade Language Arts students, with some guidance from Mrs. Neumore, Mrs. Burnett, and Mrs. McCandless have been busy this past week taking literary concepts and skills and putting them into practice with a seasonal hands on project.
The Berkshire Local Schools extends its congratulations to everyone at Burton Elementary, who was recently informed that the building will receive the Gold Recognition Award for 2019 for their Positive Behavior Interventions and Support, (P.B.I.S.).
