• Alert: Due to technical issues, the fall play, The Game’s Afoot, is postponed a week. Performances will now take place on Friday, November 15 and Saturday, November 16. Curtains open at 7:30 pm and tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students and senior citizens. We apologize for this inconvenience and hope to see you at the show. On Thursday, October 7th, students from Mrs. Moore’s and Mrs. Heiman’s 2nd and 4th period classes, participated in their first Community-Based Learning field trip, a scavenger hunt in our local Village.

Burton Elementary fourth grade Language Arts students, with some guidance from Mrs. Neumore, Mrs. Burnett, and Mrs. McCandless have been busy this past week taking literary concepts and skills and putting them into practice with a seasonal hands on project.

The Berkshire Local Schools extends its congratulations to everyone at Burton Elementary, who was recently informed that the building will receive the Gold Recognition Award for 2019 for their Positive Behavior Interventions and Support, (P.B.I.S.).
