Berkshire Elementary School is very proud of two special 6th grade students, Dakota Carver and Elaine Kartley, who recently participated in a contest sponsored by the “Association for Women in Mathematics” and “Math for America”. The essay these students wrote were based on personal Zoom interviews with women currently working in a mathematical career. Dakota interviewed Dr.Christelle Vincent from Wisconsin and Elaine interviewed Dr. Abdellafif who lives in France.  Congratulations to Dakota and Elaine for their participation and superb work!
