Students and Staff of the Berkshire Local Schools Finish 2018-2019 School Year last day0

The Berkshire Local Schools officially completed the 2018-2019 School Year earlier this week, as students, staff and families completed their final formal assignments and bid farewell until the fall.

The Berkshire Local Schools hosted its Commencement Ceremony for the approximately 99 members of the Class of 2019 earlier this week, and excitement, enthusiasm and a great sense of anticipation were among the prevailing emotions during the evening’s festivities.

The Berkshire Local Schools would like to congratulate Hannah Bomback on recently winning the American Battlefield Trust scholarship, making her one of eleven instructors nationwide to be honored with such a prestigious award. 

Berkshire Thespians Induct New Members Thespians

Thursday evening, May 16th, The Berkshire Thespians honored five individuals for their commitment in, and passion for, the performing arts by inducting them into the International Thespian Society. New inductees were senior Melanie Rakoczy and freshmen Eli Ray, Kelsey Adams, Hope Zagar, and Sam Pleva.

Berkshire High School student Makayla Hart recently took home first place honors in the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) Entrepreneurship Development Program, thereby advancing to the National Finals which will take place in California.

Our predominantly well-immunized Berkshire students are an asset to the health of our families, schools and our community as a whole.  There are immunization updates recommended by physicians and required by Ohio Law to protect against specific diseases at the start of Kindergarten, 7th and 12th Grades.
