Profera Earns All-Ohio Honors

The 2009 season was a successful one for the Berkshire Volleyball
team. They finished 22-3 overall and 10-0 in the CVC. This was the
7th straight CVC title for the volleyball program.
One of the major reasons for the success was the play of senior
outside hitter, Jackie Profera. Jackie lead the team in service
points, service aces, kills and digs and earned several postseason
awards. She was chosen as MVP of the CVC, she was Co-MVP of
District 2 (includes Lake, Geauga and Cuyahoga counties) and she
was chosen 3rd Team All-Ohio. Jackie becomes the second volleyball
player to garner All-Ohio honors in the last two years. Jackie
plans on continuing her volleyball career in college and we wish
her the best of luck.
