Summer Landscaping Vocational Program Update…

Our students are continuing to learn vocational skills through their work on the hospital landscaping project…Today they worked on enlarging a flower garden. They had to integrate and apply math skills to their work through the use of a level and other measurements to ensure they enlarged the flower garden to the appropriate proportions.
The students are working hard and also enjoying their work. They are also having the opportunity to interact with others at the hospital which is a great way to apply and generalize their communication skills.
