Burton Elementary Building Project Update for July, 2009 Updated 7/13/09

Burton Elementary building project: The flooring for the hallway and entrance in the classroom addition to Burton Elementary should be completed this week. All of the classrooms have been carpeted. Water to the new building has been completed. Electrical work for the two buildings will begin next week. The excavation and pouring of the footers for the gym is finished. Besides the ten classrooms, the building has two student restrooms, a staff restroom, a janitorial closet, an office and reception area.
The building project continues to be on schedule. We will continue to provide updates as the buildings take shape and provide other pertinent information during the summer.
