Classroom Construction addition to Burton Elementary scheduled to begin May 8th

We will be breaking ground on May 8th for the additional classrooms at Burton Elementary. The new building will contain 10 classrooms, 2 bathrooms, an office and a reception area. A canopy/walkway will be attached to Burton Elementary and the new building. All of the K-6 students in the Berkshire School District will be on one campus for the 2009-2010 school year. Mobilease, T.J. Smith Excavating, and Innovative Modular Solutions were approved by the Berkshire Board of Education at the March regular meeting to complete this project.
