University Hospitals Donates Pedometers

University Hospitals recently donated pedometers to members of the Burton Elementary Roots & Shoots. The 20 members that walked in the Middlefield Relay for Life were each given a pedometer to keep track of their steps. The students were told by Mrs. Wiggins, a UHS representative and mother of one of our walkers, that 2,000 steps equals one mile. The walkers were very excited to keep track of their distance. Thanks UHS for helping make Relay even more fun!
