March Students of the Month

Miranda Carver is the senior student of the month. Her favorite class is journalism, and she coordinates Berkshire’s Relay for Life teams. Carver is also involved in Interact and works at the New York Deli. Carver said, “I can write creatively and I make bomb [rear-end] spaghetti. Some of her favorite things include Grey’s Anatomy, Harry Potter, horror movies, and all types of music. Carver has big plans for the future; she plans to major in both biochemistry and public relations next year at Marietta College. She hopes to someday be a cancer surgeon.
The junior student of the month is Sarah Mayer. She participates in track, cross country, and indoor track. She also plays the piano. She said, “I like Grey’s Anatomy and like all kinds of music.” In the future Mayer plans to go to college.
The sophomore student of the month is Amber Ashba. She likes Spanish III and also enjoys watching Charmed and Lord of the Rings. She said, “I love to sing and act; not many people know that.” She is involved in volleyball, softball, and thespians at Berkshire. For her future plans, Ashba said, “I plan on graduating from Berkshire at the top of my class, attending Pepperdine University in Malibu, and becoming a lawyer.”
James Rohaley is the freshman student of the month. He says his favorite class is history with Mrs. Edeburn. In school, he participates in track, indoor track, and will participate in cross country in the future. After high school, he plans on becoming a surgeon or joining the Peace Corps. Rohaley said his hidden talent is “I can always find the last XXX Vitamin Water at lunch.” Rohaley also said, “I am 5’8” single and ready to mingle.”
The eighth grade student of the month is Danielle Davis. Her favorite class is history and as far as hidden talents go, she said, “I can belch like a man.” Her favorite television show is Dirty Jobs and her favorite movie is I am Legend. In the future she plans to go to college and become a massage therapist for race horses. She is in 4-H and also said, “I am a total country girl.”
Tim Ludlow is the seventh grade student of the month. He participates in basketball, baseball, and golf at Berkshire. His favorite book is Holes and it is his favorite movie too. He also likes My Chemical Romance as his favorite band. As far as his future goes, he said, “I plan to have a successful career in whatever I am doing and having a good family.”
