And the Winner Is...

To help celebrate President's Day the students in Miss Trace's Kindergarten class learned about the President's and how they are elected. We read “The President and Mom's Apple Pie” a book about William Howard Taft. An election was held for the President of Miss Trace's Kindergarten Class. The nominees on the ballot were Taffy the Rabbit, Tommy the Turtle, Miss Trace, and Santa Claus. A voting booth was set up in the classroom and each student voted. It was a close race but Miss Trace won narrowly beating Taffy the Rabbit and Tommy the Turtle. After the election Miss Trace said she was happy and looked forward to her term as President. Congratulations Miss Trace!
