Claire Markwardt was selected as the Franklin B. Walter All-Scholastic Award winner. This award is presented to outstanding senior scholars who are active in their school and community. Each county in the state may choose only one senior to represent their county at a statewide ceremony. Claire is Geauga County's recipient for this prestigious award. County Superintendent Matthew Galemmo and Claire's parents will be invited to a luncheon April 23rd in Columbus where all the winners will be recognized. Claire will also receive a $100 U.S. Savings Bond from Geauga County. Congratulations Claire!
