Flat Midori

Second graders at Troy had a special treat when Mrs. Holschuh
brought a visitor straight from Japan! Her name is Flat Midori and
she is the Japanese version of America's Flat Stanley. Second
graders love to read about Flat Stanley because he can do so many
unique things being as flat as he is (a dresser fell on top of
him!).
Mrs. Holschuh's daughter is a teacher in Japan and she did a
reading activity which involved sending Flat Midori in an envelope
to America to learn all she could about our country. Mrs. Holschuh
has made a scrapbook of pictures and souvenirs to send back with
Flat Midori to share with her second graders.
Our second graders loved the visit! Thank you!
