Technology in the Classroom…

Mr. Kostiha, our 6th grade teacher, continues to integrate computers and technology into instruction. Recently, he and his students used technology to research and study the presidents of the United States.
Mr. Kostiha teaches them the skills needed to research topics using technology and in addition to teaching such skills, he is teaching them appropriate writing skills (e.g., how to site a source, proper writing format) for writing research papers.
Mr. Kostiha does a great job of integrating technology into instruction and encourages students to apply such skills in everyday subjects. The students were working hard on their topics and were demonstrating independent work skills while applying the available technology into their projects.
