Children in Mrs. Klingman/Starr’s and Mrs. Park’s second grade classes had a wonderful visitor from the Geauga Park District. John came with many, many awesome photos, stories, and actual hands-on items to share with us. We learned all about Geauga County’s animals past and present.
John started the program by having students try to identify various animals and birds from beautiful photos. The children were enthusiastic and eager to try and guess if the animals lived in the past or currently reside in Geauga County.
Then John took us through the history of our great county via photos and wonderful stories. The children listened attentively and “oohed” and “ahhhed” at the great and interesting information he presented during the slideshow.
