TROY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IS A PLACE OF GIVING…

December 22, 2007
Our students, teachers, staff, and parents with the organization of our PTO and Roots and Shoots Group collected items for the Geauga Sheriff’s Office stuffed animal for rescue situations and Women Safe items for mothers and their children.
We had such a large amount of donations that the Sheriff Department had to have a van come to transport all the items! The representative from Women Safe’s vehicle was also filled to the top!
Thank you to the representative from Women Safe, Sherriff McClelland, Deputy Dog Midge, and other officers visited the school to thank us and collect the items. Their visit was a welcome addition to the holiday class parties!
Thank you to everyone for their generous donations! These are just more examples of the giving spirit and generous hearts of our students, parents, teachers/staff, and community!
