2nd Grade Lake Farm Park Visit

On Tuesday, November 20th Burton Elementary second graders participated in Lake Farm Park’s, Sun Moon and Stars program. The program consisted of three parts and included a session in the incredible, huge, sky dome lab! The sky dome was set up in the gym and was like a portable planetarium!
The students participated in activities that helped them demonstrate the moon’s orbit as well as the earth’s orbit around the sun. The program was a great way to help students learn about the night sky!
