Burton Elementary Sponsors a Family
for the holidays

Roots & Shoots was contacted by Geauga County Job and Family Services and asked to sponsor a family for holidays. After checking with Mrs. Ducca, Roots & Shoots gladly took on the organizational responsibilities for this endeavor.
The family we are sponsoring is a working single mother with four children. The childen are two girls aged 13 and 17 and two boys aged 15 and 10. This is a hard working family that we hope we can provide a holly jolly Christmas for.
Please feel free to stop by Burton Elementary a pick a mitten from our bulletin board. The mittens each contain the name of an item that is needed for the family. The mittens that have *s on them are items the family specifically requested. The rest of the mittens are items we feel the family will enjoy.
Items may be gift wrapped or sent back to school unwrapped and Roots & Shoots will wrap them for you! Please attach your mitten to the gift, whether wrapped or unwrapped, so we can check it off our "Santa" list. If you are unable to get to the school to pick a mitten, we can either send one to you (let the office know) OR gift cards to Walmart in any amount would be greatly appreciated. Please make sure all items are at Burton Elementary by December 17th, to ensure delivery for the holidays.
Roots & Shoots would like to thank all donors in advance for their giving spirit.
