From the desk of mrs. Ducca…

Hello Burton Campus Families,

I am so thrilled with the first few weeks of school.  The kids have done an excellent job with the Badger 5 Principles.  They are working very hard to follow the principles and be rewarded for doing so!  Thank you to PTO for a great fundraiser campaign.  I will forward you more information when it becomes available.

Thank you to all of the Burton Campus Families who donated money to Erin Farragher (2nd grade: Mrs. Park) for her Ride-A-Thon at Fieldstone Riding Stables.  We raised $513.38 for Erin!  Her goal was $1,000.00.

3rd Graders will be taking the Ohio Achievement Test in Reading next week.  It is important that your child gets plenty of rest, has a great breakfast and remains calm.  All that we ask is that every child does the best they can on the test.  Data from that test is due back in Mid-November, I will share it with you as soon as I get it from the state.

Grandparents Night Open House in October 3rd from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.  Grandparents will have time to walk around the building, visit classrooms and chat with teachers and staff members.  We look forward to seeing you all there!
