PAM is a system at Berkshire High School that allows students and parents to check grades and attendance any time they want. Parents and students can simply log on to the Berkshire website and click on the PAM link from the homepage. Principal Steve Reedy is very excited about this new system. He said, “It’s fantastic! I’ve wanted something like this at Berkshire for years.”
To access the site, a password and username are needed. The Username is a capital S and the student number of the child. The password is the student’s birthday without any hyphens or slashes.
After logging on, parents and students can view the student’s current grades and attendance plus final grades for all classes taken while at Berkshire Jr. /Sr. High School. Reedy said, “This is a great way for students and parents to stay updated on grades.” Grades can only be checked for classes with teachers who use the program. As not every teacher is using the program, some grades may not be able to be checked.
Students seem to like this new program as well. Senior Kim Petersen said, “I like that I don’t have to ask the teachers what my grades are. I can just check them on the internet any time I want.” PAM is sure to bring more convenience to Berkshire.
