On Monday, May 14th, the 5th grade class went on a field trip to the Rookery. The Rookery is a 562-acre park that features the Chagrin River and old Interurban Railroad Junction and is located in Munson Township.
At this park, the students participated in a pond and marsh study and nature hike. Also, the students learned that they are able to keep their binoculars thanks to the Naturescopes program and their donors. Now that's a wonderful surprise!
