Deputy Andy Supinski was recently introduced to the Berkshire Local Schools as the new, incoming Student Resource Officer for the District. He replaces a vacancy that was created when the previous SRO departed to pursue other opportunities. Deputy Supinski brings 27 years of experience to the position as a law enforcement official with the Geauga County Sheriff’s Office. He is very excited to begin positively engaging with students and becoming integrated into the Berkshire Schools family. Among Deputy Supinski’s most important roles, he will be responsible for ensuring school safety, teaching classes about various topics and serving as a safety resource for unforeseen circumstances. Though his office is at Berkshire Jr./Sr. High School, he makes routine weekly visits to Ledgemont and Burton Elementary on a weekly basis or as needed and requested by building principals. The Berkshire Local Schools welcomes Deputy Supinski as the new Student Resource Officer and looks forward to leveraging his many years in public safety and law enforcement to meaningfully benefit our students.
