Congratulations to the 2016/17 Berkshire Spelling Bee Winner Foye

Congratulations fourth grader Gavin Foye for winning the Berkshire School District Spelling Bee in which 45 fourth through eighth graders competed to be the TOP SPELLER.  He will represent Berkshire in the county spelling bee in February! Great job!

7th Graders Learn About Greek Gods Greek

Seventh graders in Mrs. Bartosic's World Studies classes have been learning about ancient Greece and researching a particular god or goddess.  Students could dress as their assigned deity to present or create wanted posters that demonstrated their knowledge of their deity's characteristics and major myths.  Here are just a few of the results.

Students sound off about two big changes at HS

Arguably, the two biggest changes at the high school this year are the district's alterations to the school lunch/breakfast program and the implemetation of 1:1 iPads for students in grades 9 through 12.  The Badger Pause staff recorded some students' thoughts on these two changes after the first week of school.

Berkshire's 2017 Europe trip includes England, Ireland, Scotland & Wales. It is not too late to sign up if you are in grades 9-12 at Berkshire, or a staff, family, community member who would like to tour Brittania.  Monthly payment plans are available.
